N.B. Although the ESO is a subscription orchestra, the cost is not high, and there are concessions. Subscriptions run from September to early July the following year. Professional players are sometimes paid for specific concerts, either to play within the ensemble or to play solo, but please be advised that the choices of supporting professional players and soloists are strongly influenced by the recommendations of our professional advisors and our trusted agencies.
