The Essex Symphony Orchestra (UK) gives regular concerts in Essex, England (UK) with an interesting variety of programmes and high quality soloists. Our repertoire includes classical, romantic and modern music and we accompany choral works. Justin Doyle has given up his post with the ESO in order to further his career, acting as artistic director of the Ryedale Festival and working with Opera North and we wish him all the best. We are in the process of choosing a new Musical Director who will conduct us in the 2009/2010 season.
The ESO is sad that the EMA, its longstanding partner organisation, gave its last concert in May 2009.
